Opinion of the point of you in Islam, the characteristic of salfa have many meanings. Salfa is one of the characteristics that a woman can’t have.
This salfa refers to the characteristic that doesn’t have shame in front of the opposite gender that isn’t their muhrim.
Islam protects woman like the worth of gold, therefore there’s a recommendation so that woman can take are with their shyness.
So that a woman can maintain its dignity and can take care of their shyness.
Umar Bin Khattab said: “As ugly as a woman can be that is easily gets along and mingles with men and is not shy of them.” (Narrated by Muslim).
A salfa woman in Islam often called as a woman that often go in and out of the house. As explained by Ibn Abi Hatim.
Ibn Abi Hatim also narrate from Umar Bin Khattab said, “She came walking shyly while covering her face with her clothes, not the kind of woman who is Salfa’, that is, who often goes in and out (of the house).”
Not only that, the identical of a woman is also disobedient and brave to her husband.
Al Jawhari said: “As salfa is a woman who is brave and controlling (their husband).”
In Al Azhari also said that “As Salfa’ah is a woman that doesn’t have shame in front of the unfamiliar man.” (Tahdzibul ughoh).
