Almuhtada.org – Many strange and amazing things happened on the Field of Mahshar. One of them is about a Prophet without followers who carries a sword on the Field of Mahshar.
His name was Sham’un Al-Ghazi. Sham’un Al-Ghazi was a Prophet. The Hebrews called Sham’un Samson or Samson which means the strongest man.
He was the strongest man who was undefeated. Only with his sword he was able to kill his enemies who were thousands in number.
Carrying a Sword on the Field of Judgment
In the book Qishashul Anbiyaa (Stories of the Prophets), it is narrated, that the Prophet SAW was seen smiling by himself which caused his friends to be curious.
Then asked one of his companions, “What makes you smile, O Rasulullah?” Rasulullah answered, “It was shown to me the last day when all humans are gathered in the field of Mahshar.”
“All the Prophets and Messengers gathered with their respective people, entered into heaven. There was one Prophet who carried a sword, who did not have any followers, entered into heaven, he was Sam’un Alaihi Salam.”
Apparently that made the Prophet SAW because he experienced kasyf or the opening of the curtain so that it was shown to him a Prophet who carried a sword in the Field of Mahshar and without followers. Then he entered heaven. His name as mentioned by the Prophet was Sam’un Al-Ghazi.
Causes of the Sending of Surah Al-Qadr
It is told that the Rasulullah SAW gathered with his friends in the month of Ramadan. Then the Prophet told a story about a Prophet named Sam’un Ghozi Alaihi Salam. He was the Prophet of the Children of Israel who was sent to the Roman land.
The Prophet said, Sam’un Ghozi fought against a people who were against the Belief of Allah SWT. The toughness and strength of Prophet Sam’un was used to fight against the ruler of the disbelievers at that time, the king of Israel.
After hearing the story of Prophet Sam’un al-Ghazi, his friends burst into tears, then asked the Prophet.
“O Rasul, what a great reward the prophet Sam’un al-Ghazi did, he fought to eliminate the evil for a thousand months, at night he worshiped, and during the day he fasted and fought, while we who are weak will not be able to carry out such worship”.
Then the angel Jibril came down with the surah al-Qadr. The Prophet said, “Hunt this night of lailatul qadr, you only practice one night and get the night of lailatul qadr, then you will get more than the prophet Sham’un al-Ghazi”. [] Fahdina Dean Y.
