Once, Prophet Yesaya was sent by Allah SWT in the middle of the Children of Israel. This job was carried out before the time of Prophet Zakaria and Prophet Yahya.

The Story of Prophet Isaiah
Ibn Kathir in Qashash Al-Anbiya tells us about the condition of the Children of Israel after the death of Prophet Sulaiman. They are known to have disobeyed Allah again and denied the teachings of the previous prophets.
Seeing the situation there, Allah again sent a Prophet to the Children of Israel. He was the Prophet Yesaya bin Amos (Isaiah).
If we look at the time setting, Prophet Yesaya was sent after the era of Prophet Sulaiman, but before Prophet Yahya. Like the people who disobeyed, Allah sent Yesaya to invite and advise the Children of Israel so that they would return to the right path.
The moment of disobedience of the Children of Israel happened after the rule of a righteous king named Uzziah, also known as Hezekiah. After he died, his people again made irregularities and misguidance.
When sent, Yesaya not only reminded and invited the Children of Israel to return to the way of Allah. He also warned them, especially about the punishment and painful punishment for anyone who rejects or denies the teachings of Allah.
However, the Prophet Yesaya’s appeal was rejected. Angry, the Children of Israel immediately searched and hunted Yesaya to be killed.
At this threat, Prophet Yesaya tried to escape. Then, he saw a large tree in front of him that suddenly split. Without hesitation, he went inside. However, the devil who saw the hiding place immediately took the edge of his shirt and pulled it out of the tree to be seen from the outside.
When the Children of Israel searched for Isaiah, they saw the edge of the shirt. In the end, they took a saw and split the tree. Unfortunately, the Prophet Yesaya who was hiding in the tree was also split. Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun.
