1. Reading Al-Kahfi can make us avoid the tribulation of Satan
The first benefit of reading Al-Kahfi is to avoid the tribulation of Satan who cursed throughout the day. To get the benefit of Al-Kahfi, we need to read it on Friday or Thursday night. It is already mentioned in the hadith:
From Abdullah bin Mughaffal Rasulullah SAW said “A house that is always read Surah Al-Kahf and Surah Al-Baqarah will not be entered by the Satan throughout the night. Therefore, read surah Al-Kahf to avoid the disturbance of the cursed Satan” (Hadis narrated by Ibnu Mardawaih)
2. Reading Al-Kahfi can make us died in martyrdom
Another benefit of reading Al-Kahfi is that it can make us die in martyrdom. Al Imam Baqir mentioned that benefits of Al-Kahfi is that it can read Al-Kahfi every Friday. Another benefit is that it can make people who read it will die in martyrdom and he will be raised with the martyrs.
3. Reading Al-Kahfi can make us avoid from fitnah dajjal
One of the famous reason people read Al-Kahfi on Friday is because it can avoid them from fitnah dajjal. As we know, reading the first ten ayat and the last ten ayat of Al-Kahfi, will make the reader be protected from the fitnah dajjal.
4. Reading Al-Kahfi can make the sin between two Fridays forgiven
Another benefit of reading Al-Kahfi is that we get forgiveness from Allah SWT as mentioned in the hadith narrated by Abu Bakr bin Mardawaih:
Abdullah bin Umar RA said, Rasulullah SAW said, “Whoever reads Surat al-Kahfi on Friday, a light will be spread out for him from under the bottom of his feet to the sky. That light will shine for him on the Day of judgement. And he will receive forgiveness from Allah between the two Fridays.”
5. Reading Al-Kahfi can makes us earn the pleasure of Allah Swt
Reading Surah Al-Kahf can make us closer to the pleasure of Allah SWT and get the light of His blessings. The benefit of this has been already mentioned in the hadith narrated by Ahmad:
“Whoever reads Surah Al-Kahfi, there will be light from his head to his feet, and whoever reads the whole of it, there will be light between heaven and earth.” [] Fahdina Dean Yustisia
